Parks and Wreck III

What a great rally weekend!  The new location worked out really well for us.  It was at a bar/grill right on the Illinois river.  The atmosphere was great and everyone that showed up was awesome.  I think everyone really enjoyed the main ride on Saturday.  The weather was perfect with the exception of a little rain on saturday night.  We made it work though.

Salute Your Ports

The Radium City crew took a camper and all of our bike out to Michigan for fun and general shenanigans.  I'm really glad we made the trip.  There were so many good people there and the rally was well organized.  There are so many logistics that go into making these events happen and the groups that came together for it did a great job.  Here are my pictures:

 

New 24mm Mikuni Flat Slide for the Pinto

I was having a hard time dialing in the 21mm Dellorto race carb with the Gila kit.  So, I decided to bail on it and upgrade to a Mikuni. I had a friend bend the 1.25x.120 wall DOM for me and cut the plate per a drawing I gave him. I welded it together this weekend and rode it quite a bit on Saturday. I'm really happy with the difference in performance.
